Waypoint property aerial shot
Located in the northernmost peninsula of Wisconsin, Waypoint is a gateway to the Town of Russell and greater Bayfield area – rich with history, heritage and natural beauty. Encompassing 380 acres of sloping hillside, the land at Waypoint features an indigenous network of wooded trails, and designated wetlands protected in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. More than half of the total acreage will be preserved as open space including the lower valley at Waypoint, reserved for on-site agricultural and equine use. Waypoint directly adjoins over 170,000 contiguous acres of County Forest.

The private runway situated atop the hill preserves the natural ridgeline and minimizes aircraft sound. While Hanger Lofts capture dramatic panoramic valley views from the highest elevations, other residences are tucked into the natural landscape and ledges below, once carved by glaciers marking shelves of Lake Superior’s former shoreline.
